Combo Apps/Lucid

I put together his music video toady from footage I shot on Friday on my iPhone 6 Plus. I ran into some issues with Hyperlapse and had to switch to Musemage. I used LumaFX for the kaleidoscope effect and put it all together with iMovie. The music is by Cloudsz, titled Lucid.

When I went to the doctors on Friday to get some blood tests done. I decided to film some trolley ride footage of my favorite stops. I also need to figure out the learning curve with Hyperlapse while filming footage. One of the issues I had was trying to keep the exposure correct but it’s really impossible. You’re trying to watch the the screen and out the window. When you try to move the lock exposure, it will make a dramatic change. You’ll see it at the end of the footage. What would be nice is if the developers would put in better manual controls with the app. Some people (including myself) want to use Hyperlapse beyond Instagram posting and sharing. I wanted to share my experiences with you. Hopefully someone out there will find this blog post and give me some helpful tips. Have a great day and see you soon !!!!

“Lucid” has a charming 1970’s bleached psychedelic feel to it – captivating.

  2. Hyperlapse is an interesting app, but IMHO I would rather use Filmic Pro here. The last version has time lapse capabilities, and the manual controls allow you to “slide” the exposure while keeping it locked.
