Combo Apps/Steller – “Everyone has a story to tell”

A few weeks ago I caught the Steller bug, the app has been out for over a year. Why haven’t I jumped on the bandwagon, when it first came out ? The simple reason is I thought it was just another social media app or another Backspaces app. I’ve lost interests in social media apps because the fact you only have so much time in the day to post information. Someone whose like me hates being sucked into social media. Then the minutes…then hours are gone !!! You did absolutely nothing productive because all your friends on Facebook are posting the latest drama that’s going on in their life. Pinterest is another culprit that sucks time out of your life too.

What makes Steller different from other social media apps ? It’s different because you can make personal story books from your photo library on your iPhone. You craft your stories that interests you and publish them to share with the world. Other people will thumb through your stories and leave likes/comments on them. “Everyone has a story to tell”

Steller has a very simple user interface that anyone can pick up in minutes. They have lots of layout to create your book. I recommend making drafts before you publish your books.

My overall opinion about Steller, pick it up !!! It’s FREE !!! Even if you don’t publish any books, you can thumbs through thousands upon thousands of books. Steller also opens up for Over, VSCO, Hipstamatic and other apps. This app has open door for Designers, Homecooks, Animator and many different (DIY) tutorials/stories. If you want to follow me on Steller @ashcroft54. I post simple tutorials and straight photos from my adventures and mobile arts series. You can use the same hast tags but make sure you use #steller #stellerverse and #stellermoments. These are the most popular hash tags. When you thumb through Steller, you won’t feel like you’ve wasted time or unproductive. You will feel inspired to create something new and want to share your story to the world. It’s become another outlet for me to create and share.

Steller requires iOS 7 and iPhone only. I’m hoping in the future they will have iPad support and make the app universal. If you have any questions about this blog post please leave comments or contact me Have a great day and share your stories with the world !!!!
