Combo Apps/SquidCam iPhone 6 plus

SQUID_SS_i6plus

I wanted to kick off this Memorial Day Weekend and Summer with SquidCam !!! I finally got my iPhone 6 plus case and lens system and took (macro) photos like crazy with it. I’ll show you more of these macro photos in future blog posts.

The iPhone 6 plus SquidCam has been totally redesigned from the ground up. The case if smooth with SquidCam’s new logo design and the lenses are put on an machine aluminum adapter bar. So it’s easier to flip and place your lenses on your case. The case is still made with same hybrid materials as the iPhone 6 cases. The case feels really nice in your hands and nice to grip too. I’ve used all the cases off and on. The fit like a glove and makes my 6 plus lighter compared to the OtterBox Symmetry Case.

The cases come in 3 colors shown up above. You can order just the case or cases with 4-in-1 lens system.

Overall the lens seem to be a little more sharp than previous. The macros are still a little o the softer side, so if you’re looking for that softer look to your macro photos. These are the lens for you. I take a lot of macros with a lot of different lenses. Sometimes I like that softer and more natural look to my photo when I want to do minimal editing. The new lens attachment is easier to use because of the new design, so I’m not worried about loosing my one of my lenses. They screw on pretty tight and seem easier to screw them down. I don’t have to keep plying with the threads to make them fit on the fisheye and wide angle. I like the idea of screwing off my lenses and putting them in a small lens clothe bag for protection in my pocket.
