Combo Apps/Colors 1000 Filters

Colors - 2

Today I’m going to be talking about an called Colors. Some of you may know this app and some might. You’re probably asking yourself why would this app be so popular ? Does it live up to it’s popularity ? What does it have to offer that other camera apps don’t have ? All I can say is sit back and read about it. You will learn that a simple concept can make an app great.

I’ve opened up Colors on my iPhone and wanted to show you the settings menu first. Always check your setting to see if everything is set before you start taking a boat load of photos. You don’t have the worry about resolution settings because they are set to iPhone camera.

What you have here is the color of the filter you will use when they app is open and ready to shoot. You can load a photo from your camera roll if you prefer. I actually like using the camera because I can choose the color I want to shoot with and the different aspect ratios. Which is great because the iPhone 6/6+ cameras has the manual controls now. You can get better accurate shots with the iPhone on board camera app.

The color selection is really amazing and put into different categories or pick All. I would go with the different categories to make it easy. So you can pick out what you want in real time or live before you shoot it. It makes everything easier and you don’t have to second guess the outcome.

After you shoot your photo, you can edit it on the app and enhance your color photo. You can also load it up on Instagram or share in other social media or save to the camera roll. You also have frames you can use on your Colors photo and apply text on your photos too.

So let me tell you what I like about this app, the developers took a very simple concept and made a really beautiful app. It’s not fancy but very colorful. I really like this app for what it is. Colors doesn’t crash me while I’m using it, you can see what you’re shooting and change if you don’t like the color you used. But what makes this app great is this…

…with the different color categories. You can pull off some awesome looking photos without using a whole bunch of apps to get that effect. You just have to shoot it to get what you want. It’s also the closest thing to using color lens filter on a camera. You can pick up Colors for $.99 in the App Store and universal to the iPad. In my opinion the app is a steal at that price !!! Colors is also on Instagram if you want to follow them @colorscamera. If you have any questions about this blog post, please leave comments or email me ashcroft54@gmail.com. Have fun and see you soon !!!
