Combo Apps/Cloth Clip Collection DCkina

My Cloth Clip Collection

Today An avid reader asked me what do I really think of the Cloth Clip Lenses ? Well she got her wish in a detailed blog post. Up adove are the Cloth Clip Collection by DCkina. With the iPhone 6 rumoured and known to be out in the fall, people are looking for universal mobile for design changing iPhones and other smartphones. The other factor people are looking for are competitive prices for their gear. This was the other reason for this blog post. I wanted to mention all of these Cloth Clip lenses are made of glass.

Cloth Clip 6X Macro Scope

I’m going to start with Cloth Clip 6x Macro Scope Lens. I’ve written about this lens before from a previous blog post and showed you samples of the photo from this cloth clip lens. This cloth clip does come a small pouch that’s not pictured.

Cloth Clip 6x Macro Scope Demo

These are the photos I took with Cloth Clip 6x Macro Scope lens. I really like using this lens because you can get really up close to fine details. The cost of this mobile lens is $9.87 and worth the money. Especially if you’re into mobile macro photography.

Cloth Clip Circular Polarizer Filter Package

The next one is Cloth Clip Circular Polarizer Filter. This filter is great for blocking out intense sun light and bringing details with your photos. It’s also great for blocking out window reflections too.

This is what you get, cloth clip, circular polarizer filter, lens cap and small pouch.

CPF Test - 2

These are the sample shots I took with the Circular Polarizer. I had to twist the filter to get the second shot taken to make a difference. I got a photo where you couldn’t see the difference to a little difference. It did help a little with the glare on the Dip sign and bring some details in the clouds. The price for Circular Clip is $8.97, so it’s not to bad. I don’t always use a Circular Polarizer for taking photos but I know this would come in handy when the sun is shining bright and everything you take looks flushed out.

Cloth Clip Fisheye - Wide Angle - Macro 10X Package

The last Cloth Clip is a 3-in-1 Fisheye, Wide Angle and Macro. It’s kind of a cool lens system and very universal.

Cloth Clip Fisheye - Wide Angle - Macro 10x

These are all the goodies that come in the package, cloth clip, fisheye, wide angle+macro, 4 lens capes and a pouch to carry them in.

Cloth Clip Fisheye Demo

I’m going to start with the fisheye lens. The photo from this lens is pretty decent. The phot is preset decent and the edges aren’t that bad.

Cloth Clip Wide Angle

The wide angle is a little rough but it’s workable for square photos. The edges are pretty blurry from the top and bottom but not horrible. I can work with this lens.

Edge Test

Here are the top edges from the fisheye and wide angle.

Cloth Clip Macro 10x

These are the photo from the macro lens. When you unscrew the wide angle, you get the macro lens and it’s about 10x macro. These details and color look great with this lens. The cost of this 3-in-1 lens system is $19.50. This a great deal in my opinion !!!

Overall is you’re looking for something universal, cloth clip lenses are the way to go. They work with most smartphones and you don’t have to worry what happens when you get a new iPhone or smartphone.

Product Price List:

Cloth Clip 6x Macro Scope – $9.87
Cloth Clip Circular Polarizer Filter – $8.97
Cloth Clip Fisheye/Wide Angle/Macro – $19.50

Thank you, Tina! Love this blog, and the info you provide! I’m thinking I may order either the macro lens, or the 3-1 lens set, which does seem like such an excellent price, as you had mentioned. I very much wish DCkina offered a stronger clip on macro lens, as they do with their case (20x). Perhaps they’ll produce one, and I should wait and see if that happens before ordering anything?

I’m going to contact them tomorrow. It will be Monday there since we have a huge time difference. The clips are tight but they do move when you stick your iPhone in your pocket. You can look through the lens to check if you places the clip properly. I’m going for the 13.2mm lens next after I do these telephoto lenses.

Oh, that’s great! Please keep me informed. I think that I would be ok with the clip on lens, as I use a little wristlet to tuck my phone away when not in use. Don’t think it would involve any displacement of the lens. Thanks, it’s good to know about looking through the lens to see if positioned properly. Looking forward to your telephoto lens blog. Always want to take pics of birds, and other wildlife, and the iPhone suffers at any distance shots. Thank you for all of the great information, Tina! It is muchly appreciated!

I didn’t know they sold polarizers and for that cheap … Might be nice for landscape photos … Will check it out … Thanks for reviewing these!

They have a lot of different lenses. They’re good lenses for the price. You have to consider that you’re getting them close wholesale and not retail mark ups. It does take two weeks to get the stuff but worth it in my opinion.

  4. Thank you, Tina. You are opening my mind to the different kind of lenses. 😘
