On Monday I did a blog post on finding other grunge and texture apps, well today I’m going to show what happens when these wallpapers don’t fit to your editing ratio or resolution. What I’m going to show is a creative way of making things fit to your standards. The top are from an all called Black, they offer free wallpaper for black and white editing or if you’re looking for dark textures.
First I downloaded all the Black wallpaper from the app and delete the app from my iPad. As you can see the wallpapers were designed for iPhone 5/5S and iPod Touch and the resolution is 640 x 1136.
So I picked a diptych to merge my wallpapers together, I also had to flip it to merge them in making a mirror style background image.
Then next I wanted to take the borders out so they look seamless and clean.
This is my finished background, it’s also makes a nice abstract image.
Here”s one with the image put together to make one seamless square background. What’s nice about making these creative background collages is it pumps the resolutions on your images.
This background image I made with PolyFrame, so it looks like a pinwheel effect. What’s nice about PolyFrame is you can make all different types of abstract images. This is a great reason to have a few to several collage apps. Most if these apps have their own design and style in putting collages together. The possibilities are endless with these wallpaper and collage apps. If you have any questions just leave a comment or email me firstname.lastname@example.org. Have a great day and see you soon…
