Combo Apps/Gloomlogue, Click Serendipity and Superimpose Studio

I wanted to a run through with Gloomlogue since the app was offered for free at one time. There are some pros to the app and some cons. The pros are you get the best dreamy looking photos I’ve ever seen. You have a lot of tools to work with and the tools are very easy to use.

The con and the worst kind is this pop up message. It pops up even after you rate and write a review for the app. It also pops up frequently, each time you change screens. This is spamming of the most annoying kind in any photo app I’ve ever used in 4 years. What makes it even worse the developer ignores your suggestions and can’t be found.

This is my finished edit with Gloomlogue. I will mention other cons that bug me, low res saves 1280 x 1280 and your photos are save as PNG files and not JPEGs. Over all I gave this app 1 star in the App Store, for low res saves, PNG file save and constant spamming of “rate me” pop ups. I deleted this app after I did this edit, until a better update comes out to fix those problems. The app sells for $.99 in the App Store.

Click Serendipity is the next app and it’s a cutie girly app. I really like it for fast postings on Facebook. Vida loves this app because it’s like placing stickers on a screen.

Vida helped me pick out the stamps just love it. I recommend this app for kids to place stickers on their photos. The app saves at 640 x 640 but it’s cute and easy to use, so I can’t fault it too much. You can pick up Click Serendipity for $1.99 at the App Store. I hope they plan to make this app save at a higher resolution.

The last app I’m going to write is Superimpose Studio. It’s a cut out and paste your images on top of your photos.

They give you a run through of the app works. All I have to say is this app isn’t even close to Juxtaposer or Superimpose (original). It’s hard to use on the iPhone to max and you can’t get the fine details to mask out.

Superimpose Studio

Here’s the the images I made with Superimpose Studio. The app is really pricey for what it does and it does have iPad support. The app sells for $2.99 at the App Store.

All in all I wanted to write a quick review and post some screen shots of these apps. If you have any question please leave a comment or email me Have a great day and see you soon…

Despite saving in png and etc., I like Gloomlogue a lot. You’re right the dreamy feeling achieved by this app I couldn’t find elsewhere. I’m still looking for others like it – and better at it, but so far… Click Serendipity is cute, but the low res factor is a big con. The last one I didn’t even bothered to use ;).

Gloomlogue also had 1280 x 1280 res and pop up spamming to rate me. Even after you rate and write a review that still pops up. That makes me delete an app all together. It’s a shame because I like the app.
