You just watch one year in the making of Mobile Macro World. The video is part one of three slide videos. I took over 1200 macro photos and narrowed it down to 300. I put 100 photos in each slideshow.
This was the magical macro lens I used to take all my photos from my iPhone 4S. The lens is part of a magnet Fisheye+Macro system. I got the lens from DCkina and wrote a review about the lens system. The lens was sent to me by mistake and I was suppose to get a 20x Macro with back case. Even if it was the wrong item, it turned out to be one of the best mistakes to happen to me. I liked the macro lens so much, that I couldn’t put it down !!!
I took all of the photo from my walks with Vida and Boyce. They put up a lot with these walks around the neighbourhood as I took many macro photos. Boyce was really intrigued when I showed him what happens you use a macro lens. He liked looking at my iPhone screen and the photos. Boyce said, “it’s like looking through a microscope !”
Overall this was a really great project and it taught me to slowdown and look for the details in everyday life. You don’t have to travel great distances to take magnificent photos. All you need to do is take a walk around the neighbourhood or just down the street. You’ll never know what you will find along the way. This project taught me how to be present in the moment and look for beauty in the mundane.
