Here’s a utility app I find useful and actual worth keeping next to you file transfer app and your cloud storage app (of any kind). The developer tweeted me a code to try out his app. I tried it and actually love it. I’ve always wanted an app to give me a correct reading of the resolution of the photos you take to the images you make from other editing apps.
Other things this app will do is zoom in 100% to check for sharpness.
Alright let’s load up the app and get started, when you load the app you have the obvious button. Take a photo or load a photo from your camera roll.
Now you’re wondering the other two button on the left and right and their function. The first screen shots is the “i” button is the info button. This will tell you all about the app in full details. The second screen shot is your settings with the app. That is the gear button. Make sure to check your settings before you start using the app.
Whatever you choose take a picture or check your photo from the library. You can check the sharpness of you photo. Sometime you can tell unless you zoom in and check you photo up close. As for me my eye aren’t what they used to be because I’m getting older. You have two options with the zoom, tap or pinch. When you tap or pinch your photo, it will only zoom to 100%. That’s all you really need for a zoom in with your photos.
Now this is my favourite part of the app. This app will even give you accurate resolution of your photos and images. It doesn’t matter what the file for art is, you will get the resolution. The only thing that’s missing is the file format. I would like to know what the file format of the photo or image you’re reading. I was told this would be in future updates. Up above this is the 300dpi output.
This is the 150dpi output. You even get how big you can print out your photos. What a handy tool to have in your pocket.
Overall I give this app a 9 out of 10 for quality tools in today’s mobile digital world. The app is stable with a very easy user interface. This app comes in handy and should be added to your photo app collection. All it needs to be perfect is iPad support because I know some people print from their iPad to printer. Oh bad what file format is your photo or image. Photo Quality Check is also a great deal at $.99 in the App Store. Requires iOS 7 or later, compatible on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and optimised for the iPhone 5/5S.
I want to thank Romeu Peitinho for a promo code and letting my try his app. If you have any questions leave a comment or email me firstname.lastname@example.org. Have a great day and see you soon !!!
