Here’s the long awaited blog post about Living Planet – Tiny Planet Video app by Samer Azzam. Samer and his brother Majed have made some really great apps that are truly innovative that set a standard with photo and video apps. I was suppose to write about this Living Planet awhile ago but that’s when I had my stroke. I owe Samer a lot because he lets me into his world of developing apps. What I like most about the brother team is they really listen to people suggestions on improving their apps. They show off people’s creativity by featuring them on their many Instagram accounts for each of their apps.
Living Planet – Tiny Planet is really one of the best video apps of 2014. There’s no app like it out there. It’s one of the easiest video apps to use with a very simple user interface. The top video is the opening demo of the app.
Now after the video is over you can pick the following options on the screen. You can just do a simple Tiny Planet edit, Living Planet video, Shop for more apps, get Inspiring video from Instagram @livingplanetapp and play.
This is where the Inspiration button will take you if you want to watch creative Living Planet videos.
It’s really important to check you settings, so you can decide the length of video you want and where to post your creations. I have set so I can post my creations on Instagram.
After you load or make a video it will start the compression of making a Living Planet video.
You have two choices of videos, Tiny Planet or Wormhole. You also have a choice of many filters to apply on top of your video.
After you’ve picked you video effect and filter, the process of the video begins. This process takes a long time and lots of battery life. I recommend you turn off all you apps in the background and do the process while you iPhone or iPad is plugged in for charging. You’re processing a lot of infuormation and each video shot.
The files are really large when you’re done too. So I recommend you back up your living planet on a hard drive or a cloud account of some kind. You can also upload your video on Facebook, YouTube or Vimeo.
Here’s the demo Living Planet I made for the blog post.
This is another sample video I made with Living Planet. It’s a very simple app to operate with easy uploads. The longest time you have to wait is the processing of the videos. I really like the creative genius behind the app and how Tiny Planets come to life with this app. The app is universal to the iPad, requires iOS 7 or higher and optimise for the iPhone 5/5S. It’s still on sale for $.99 so better pick it up before the price goes up. If you want to check out other apps developed by the Brothers Azzam team there’s a list below of apps.
I want to thank Samer and team for giving me a copy of the app. If you have any question about this app please leave a comment or email me firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks for reading and see you soon !!!
