Combo Apps/Rickshaw Bags

So let me tell you about my story with Rickshaw, I came across their company on a Google search for iPad bags. I went to their website and look at it thoroughly for a couple of hours. Then I decided to email them and see what would happen. I didn’t expect a reply from them and forgot about it. Then I couple of month later during Christmas time I got an email from from Rickshaw. Telling me they would be interested in sending me a sample to write about their products and give her a list. I got my bag over a month later because of the holidays. I was really sick and didn’t open the box to look at it. But I did email Lisa and let her know I got the package and will look at it later.

This is my MESSENGER BAG FOR IPAD/PERFORMANCE TWEED™ TUXEDO. When I open the box I was really happy I got this bag because it was the one I really liked the most and wanted to write about it.

Rickshaw iPad Sleeve

I had an hand written know telling me I got the matching iPad Sleeve to go with the bag. When I opened the bag there was the iPad Sleeve !!! They even make sleeves for the iPad Air, iPad Mini, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Kindle Fire, Kindle White and Nexus 7. What nice about these sleeves is they have Ultra Plush lining so your iPad or Tablet won’t get scratched up and stay in the sleeve as well. They offer Horizontal or Vertical style sleeves. The MacBook Pro sleeves are different. They have a flap to keep them closed and come in horizontal style only. Prices vary from sleeves and start at $40 up to $60. All sleeves are customize and prices can vary on the the materials you decide to use to make your sleeve.

Every bag that is made from Rickshaw will have this label sewn in them, to let you know these bags are made in San Francisco. Each bag does have a story and what makes this company great is everything is done in the City of San Francisco. They’re quality well made bags and so are the sleeves.

This is what the bag looks on the inside with my iPad with sleeve. It has a lot of room and this bag is made for an iPad or most 10″ tablets. There is also a strip of velcro inside the that back pocket sleeve on the opposite side. The velcro is for the Zipper Pocket Sleeve, if you want to get the extra pocket in the bag it will cost you $10. There is also the Deluxe Drop Pocket Sleeve and costs $15.

I even like the adjustable strap, it works great and easy to use. The strap itself is really nice and would be if it came with a strap pad. I know you can order a Strap Pad for $15, which is made at Rickshaw factory.

Rickshaw is a new San Francisco-based bag company. Inspired by the creative energy of our city, urban cycling and an intense desire to make great products, we started Rickshaw to satisfy our own personal passion for bags. We know how people love their bags. We think it’s cool–if not kind of weird–the way people grow attached to their favorite bag as though it were a pet or loved–one.

We also love city living–the excitement, diversity, creativity and culture we experience in a fast-paced
metropolitan environment. With access to art, theater, music and restaurants, there’s an energy that pulses through the community. We design our bags for people who thrive on the urban experience and celebrate the creative spirit.

We’re a new company, but we have many years of experience designing and manufacturing great bags and
providing unique customer experiences. In addition to our passion for bags, we share a strong set of humanistic, environmental and social values that guide the way we conduct every aspect of our business. The name of our company derives from three Japanese characters meaning “human powered vehicle”–delightfully apropos for a company making bags for bicycle enthusiasts, and our metaphor for the strength of the human spirit.

We’re excited to embark on our new entrepreneurial adventure, and we look forward to seeing people carrying our bags on the city streets soon.

Thanks for visiting.
