Lowepro is a name you can trust for over 40 years of making your photo gear through extreme conditions, but this blog post will be about the Deluxe Media Case 30. There will be another blog post that will follow about the Urban Reporter 150 bag after this post. I wanted to do the media case as a separate blog post because Christmas is just around the corner. You want to give that mobile photographer a gift that’s not too expensive but something they will use on the go and can carry all their small photo gear. I always like to find creative uses of the obvious things…you will see what I’m talking about through this blog post.
Since Lowepro is working on bags and backpacks for the mobile photographer, this Deluxe Media 30 Case is something you can start with to be used as creative mobile gear storage.
What I like about this case is it’s rugged exterior shell so the things you carry won’t get smashed when carrying in your camera bag or backpack. You want a hard shell like this do you things inside won’t get went either.
When you open it up on the inside you will noticed all these small compartments, pockets and holders. It all felted in the inside so you don’t have to worry about your Olloclip, magnet attached lens or any other type of small lenses get scratched up. I can even put my Lensdial in this media case because I have an iPhone 4S. I’m not sure how an iPhone 5/5S will fit in this media case since the case is longer. All the little pocket do stretch because they are mesh pockets. I put one of magnet attached lens in the bottom pocket and fits perfect in the after I unscrewed it apart.
Now if you wanted to take an extra iPhone for people who’ve kept their older iPhone or an iPod Touch. You can slip it behind the where a hard drive would be stored. In the front pocket you can stick in a couple of small Styli with you for editing your mobile photos. You can even put in a Power Bank Battery behind here too.
You pull that back and you have a couple more pockets for whatever else you would like to store for your mobile photo gear. The Deluxe Media Case 30 sells for $24.99 and is a steal of a deal for storing all your small mobile photo gear. Most people will spend the money on a new iPhone case alone for that price. It’s rugged, works for storing small mobile gear and fits perfectly in your backpack or camera bag. This case is not just for media memory cards, USB drives and external hard drives. This case is also great for mobile photo gear storage.
You can order the Deluxe Media Case 30 on Adorama, B&H Photo, Amazon and other camera related websites or stores.
