Today is “OVER” !!!No pun intended but it is about an app called Over and the cards I picked up at Starbucks. I’ve also been giving the codes away om my Insatgram Combo Apps account because not everyone lives close to a Starbucks in the US or they hate Starbucks. These cards with codes on them are only good in the US only. I will keep giving these codes out until all my cards are gone…
Now why am I blogging about this Over ? It’s because people are asking me how to you use this app. Some people don’t understand the concept of Over and it’s popularity. I’m also doing this blog for my friend Alisha. Whose always pushing me to take photos and keep on blogging. This blog post is for her so she can operate this app. Plus we are going to the Del Mar Fair and this would be the perfect opportunity to use the app with her photos. Over is a universal app for the iPhone/iPad. The app normally sells for $1.99 but is only sale for $.99 (limited time) in the App Store. Over has in-app purchases for fonts and clip art. There is a freebie for clip art in the app after you have signed up and logged in with Over. You can also follow them on Instagram too through the app. This photo was taken with Hipstamatic and text/art clips done with Over.
Ok let’s get started with this blog post, as you can see I’ve loaded up Over on my iPhone. Over will automatically load up your camera roll after it’s done uploading. You have two choices “take photo” or “albums”. Do you see the YELLOW ARROW button the right hand side in the middle of the screen ? That will be your option wheel for editing, adding and applying fonts and clip arts on your photo.
The options wheel just pulls out half way and turn the wheel by moving your finger up and down on the screen. At the moment the screen is blank to show you the option wheel.
Here you go and now you can follow Over on Instagram if you want to.
Here are two options of adding text or artwork.
So if you want to change your fonts on Over, that is an in-app purchase option. Since I got the app for FREE at Starbucks, I’ll pay for the IAP (in-app purchase) for $.99.
You can adjust your fonts and art work through the edit section of the option wheel.
Now here you see the words I’ve added with Over, what you can do here is adjust each work you have typed out. You can duplicated or delete the word by tapping on each word you’ve typed out. I don’t have that screen shot on display but I wanted to let you know you have the option to duplicate or delete words in case you made a mistake on spelling, changed your mind on a word or put in the wrong word.
This pops up when the photo has saved on your camera roll. You also have other options to share your photos on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Email and Postcard. There is also a reset button on the option wheel in case you want change your picture or start over again.
This is my finished photo I did with Over, at the time the song “People Get Ready” was playing at Starbucks. That’s why I have that text on their with a coffee cup artwork.
Here’s another photo I took with Hipstamatic’s Oggl app and put in some words about beer to make you want to get a pint of beer. I love to drink exotic and micro brew beer when I’m out.
Over all I find Over to be one of the best app to app text/fonts and clip art to app to your photos. This is definitely one of a kind app to have in your collection if you want straight 2D flat text and clip art on your photo. Now if you have any questions about this app please leave a comment or email me firstname.lastname@example.org.
