Repix is finally out and released to the public today. I was a demo tester during the last part of the process for Repix. The developers wanted me to write about their app and show my own editing style with their app. The photo up above was edited with Repix and other apps. You can read the press email below about the app down below.

Ok, I’ve loaded up Repix and this was the default photo so you can mess with the app and test out the features.
These are you are your features and options in how to operate the app. It’s a really easy app to use with a very nice UI.
I’ve loaded up my photo to be edited with Repix. What I really love about this app is how they’ve use a stylus tip instead of an actual brush tip. I find this very cleaver and creative. It also shows that this is the way of the Mobile Artist in these Mobile Times.
Here I am using the silk stylus/brush…now I want to show what you can do if you don’t like Silk and want to change.
You can hit that back arrow on the top left center in the screen. You can keep tapping on it until the message pops up. This will let you know you’re at the original loaded photo.
I wanted to show you how you that you can keep applying the different art stylus on top of each other as layers.
Now let’s say you don’t want to use the arrow on the left side to back track with what you did. The other option is to use UNDOER tip. It’s a slow process when you use this tip.
Once you use the undoer, it goes back to the original loaded photo.
This is what happens when you use “ERASE”. It actually erases you photo. What ate the advantage of erasing your photo ? Well it’s simple you can add textures in or put stars, glowing smoke, flares and/or sparkler in it’s place. You can also use Van Gogh, Hatching or Daubs. It’s really up to you with what you want to do with your photo. That’s the beauty of Repix, anything goes with this app. I recommend this app for everyone from the person who likes to preserve the photo to the crazy/extreme editor such as myself. Repix is really made for everyone. It has mass appeal and a very nice happy medium for artistic people and the non artistic. This is truly one of the best new photo app that has come out of the market recently. It wouldn’t surprise me if this app become New and Noteworthy to one of the main featured app in the App Store. Pick it up, the app is FREE to start with and saves at High Res !!! You can’t really go wrong with this app.
Another demo photo edited with Repix and layered with DXP…if you have any questions please leave comments or email me firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also check out the Combo Apps Flickr Group and my about.me page to find or follow me on the web. Have a great day and see you next week !!!
