I wanted to talk about the big update with iColoramam S (iPhone) and iColorama (iPad). It’s about the new Escher added features that have been added to the app. Now you can pretty much have a full Droste style of editing, with extra features. I was emailing the developer, Teresa Alonso back and fourth about adding extra features to her Escher FX section of editing. With iDroste pretty much out of commission and no way of getting a hold of the developers of the app. The app has been out of commission since the iOS 5 update. I talked to Teresa about adding sliders and styles to her Escher FX. Not only did Teresa add the extra features, she made even better than the iDroste App with more styles. I want everyone who loves editing to know about this extraordinary app !!! At the end of the blog I will give you all the info about the developer and iColorama.
Basically it’s the breakdown of loading on the app and the photo I will be using for this demo and we are ready to go…
I tap on the Escher button and this is the default setting.
Tap on the first box of sliders and you will get Periods, Strands and Radius. You can also play with the Opacity.
The second box of sliders really gets complicated and fun. It’s where you can change your Escher to your liking and make it your own.
These are the presets of styles of Eschers. You have 10 different preset options to play with and the slider box to play with your created preset. You can go crazy with Escher FX.
I’ve also added an HDR layer to my Escher edit.
Your different options of saving and posting you photo creations.
Here is my final edit with iColorama S.
iColorama S and iColorama are a very user friendly app to operate with manual controls and endless editing options. This app is not made for the lazy editor in mind, you really have to make an effort in using this app. That’s why I love iColorama S so much because of all the controls, styles of editing and layers of blending. Now if you only need a few apps for editing your photos with your iDevice, this is the app to have in your collection. For the price ($1.99 for iPhone and $1.99 for iPad) are worth every penny, I want to thank Teresa for this great update and the opportunity to help and be involved with the Escher update. You can contact the developer through her website. Teresa is very friendly and loves to hear improvements and comments about her app. If you have any questions about this blog post please leave a comment or email me firstname.lastname@example.org.
