This photo was taken with Pro Camera 3.0, then done with two different apps, Bleach Bypass and Pic Tools. This process was done with one saved called “Photo App Link“. Photo app link is a process where this will cut down on the saving so many photos and steps in editing. You can have a continues workflow. This will be the new future in combo app editing. I predicted this would happen in the near future, now it has happened. You can check out everything about this new way of editing by click on the Photo App Link. There is You Tube Video of how it works and the apps that you can store with listed below. This will change how we will edited photos with all our iDevices. I also e-mailed this photo to Jim Moore, developer of Bleach Bypass. You can find his photos on Flickr and Instagram. He is also developing a new app. I’m not sure what it will be like or called, but I’ve seen the developments on Instagram. We follow each other on both sites. Now lets get started with the new style of Combo Apping or App Photo Linking.
This is the photo we will start with taken with Pro Camera 3.0.
Bleach bypass, also known as skip bleach or silver retention, is an optical effect which entails either the partial or complete skipping of the bleaching function during the processing of a color film. By doing this, the silver is retained in the emulsion along with the color dyes. The result is a black and white image over a color image. The images usually would have reduced saturation and exposure latitude, along with increased contrast and graininess. It usually is used to maximal effect in conjunction with a one-stop underexposure. This app was developed by Jim Moore.
Bleach Bypass is a very simple and easy app to use with dramatic effect to your photos. This app has had two huge updates. One was the control on how much effects you wanted on your photos for more control. Two was the Photo App Link update. You can pick up this app for $.99 at the App Store and at the end of the Blog there will be 10 Promo Codes so you can pick up this app for FREE !!! First come, first serve…
Lets talk about the button you can tap on the app.
1. The Sprocket is you settings
2. the boxes is your Photo Album upload.
3. Camera, so you can take photos.
4. FX is your different types of effects you want to do with your photos.
5. Save Imgae, email Image and Edit in another App buttons.
This is my loaded photo onto the app.
My favorite effect is Cinematic, because of dramatic and edgy your photos look. you will noticed the slider for how much effect you want on your photo. There is also a vignette option and frame option. You can tap on whatever you like.
Ok, here’s the cool part of the app, there is where you will edit you photo onto another app. So let’s tap on the “Edit in another App” button and see where this will take you next.
So this is the next screen it will take you, you will noticed I have two apps connected to Bleach Bypass. Pic Tools and Photogene. I’m going to tap on Pic tool.
But before I tap on Pic Tools, I wanted to show you the “More Apps” button. Now if you go to the Photo App Links site, they have an instructions on how you can link apps to each other. There is even a video on how it all works. This is going to be the future of Combo App Editing. I recommend you go to the site read more about this new way of linking editing/photo apps. It’s new. I’m still trying to figure it all out for now…there will be more about this in future blogs. I also wanted to add when you do app link editing it doesn’t save you photo with each app you link to. It’s a way so you don’t clog you photo album with edited photo, although I like seeing the each photo change with each photo edit.
Now the photo has been loaded to Pic Tools. I’m just going to do a simple Overlay edit.
You will see you photo saved in the photo album with you photo doubled edited and processed.
The finished photo with added Lens Light and Lens Flare effects. I got an e-mail saying the apps are all been upgraded for the next iPhone 5. You will have 9 megapixels resolution saves.
Now as promised there Promo Codes, there are 10 codes for Bleach Bypass. There will be 5 on the Combo Apps: iPhoneographey Extreme Editing Page on Facebook.
