The photo up above was done with the new and improved Filterstorm. Other apps that follow with this combo are Dynamic Light and Tilt Shift Gen.
They really polished up this app, made it more user friendly and pumped up the resolution. This app sells for $3.99 at the App Store and worth every penny. You will use thus app for any type of editing. It’s the one you use for big job or the fine tuning edits on your photo. This app is also can be used with the iPad. This app to me is the Photoshop and should be the Flagship of photo apps. It’s powerful, easy to use and does about 100 or more different things to edit you photos. I love using this app !!! It’s one of my most used photo editing app for major or small editing. If you noticed they have totally change the interface and made this app a lot simpler to use. Simple, yet powerful this app is loaded with tons of features. It will start with the photo I’m going to be editing. Then the screen shots to follow on how I edit this photo and other information.
I’ll be loading the photo.
All you have to do is tap on the icon on how you want to edit your photo. I’ll be showing you what all the icons will do for you.
This is your history section, if you make a mistake on editing you want always go back to where you left off last in your edit session.
This is the last icon on where you can export your photo and size of how you will save your photo.
Name your session or destination.
Where you want your photo to end up at.
What I want to do is try the tone map edit, as you can see you can blend your photo or mask in how you want your blend.
The top button highlighted is how much “strength” you want in your photo. You can slide the bar up and down on how much tone you want in your photo.
The bottom button highlighted is your “radius”. How much ratius or chunky contrast you want in your photo.
The next thing I want to is black and white this photo. What’s great is it will show what it split in half and show you what black and white and color looks like. This way you have an idea of what you photo will look like in black and white. You can also tap on blue, green and red to mess with highlights and shadows detail too.
Next I want to bring out color in the photo. I will tell you what each button does, starting from the top to the button.
1. The size button, you use your finger to make your photo larger or smaller. This was you can see where you miss on color or erase areas of color was put on by mistake.
2. That is the brush to apple the color.
5. Color range, how much color you want to apply.
This is my finished photo. I also used a little Dynamic Light and the Tilt Shift Gen to blur the top of the photo. I will probably delete my Color Splash and Color Blast app from my phone, since Filterstorm has this type of editing. The apps do this type of editing. I will be keeping Decolorized. The use Filterstorm to fill in the details that were missed and erase certain areas of my photo.
