Fusion can be a great thing when layering photos on top of each other, like shown up above. There’s a new app in town that has a new an innovative way of blending and layering photos on top of each other called InstaFusion by TechBLA Vison. Now you’re wondering what’s so different about this app blending and layering app compared to others in the market ? All I can say is read the blog post and find out. Then you can decide if this app is for you because I know after reading this blog post you will rush right out and buy this app. The image up above was blended and layered with InstaFusion and the balloons came from LoryStripes.
InstaFusion is a blending and layering app with a huge twist. The price is $.99, universal to the iPad and all the screen shot came from my iPad. InstaFusion is iOS Only app.
Let’s get started and the reasons why InstaFusion sets apart from the rest of the blending and layering app out there in the market. When you tap on the “i” button this will tell you how all the buttons functions on the app. now what makes the app so innovative is the differnt types of blending styles and they are See Through, Unistrip, Lightmex, Radical Blend and Blend.
I’ve loaded up two photos I’ll be blending together. Now the top photo is always doing to be the main default photo. so this will be your ratio default as well as the main editing photo. The top photos is my niece, Vida whose always ready for a photo op for her Aunt Tina.
This is what happens when you tap on See Through, you will always start with Normal for your blending. You have 4 other options of blending your photos together. There’s a slider button to play with the opacity of which photo you want to be more dominate, the top of bottom photo and you always start in the middle. there is a “Swap” button at the top of the screen so you can swap the top or bottom photo.
Unistrip does a strip right down the middle. This is great for a creative split or something transitional you want to convey in your photos or images.
Lightmex is great for making the faux light leaks or yin and yang effect of blending with your photos.
Radical Blend is like a circular in the middle type of blending. This is great for like the top photo I showed you at the start of this blog post. Or if you want to me a Cameo style of editing with people’s faces, a black hole effect or anything else you can think of with Radical Blending.
Blend is just straight blending in your photos together.
These are your save options. I’m going to tap on Gallery button to save to my camera roll.
Let’s say I want to app another layer on top of this image ? You tap on “YES” to start the process again.
You have these different options. *Note* about the “Last Applied Image” if you use the last image you edited and edit with that photo. Your photos will save at a very low resolution 480 x 480. So you’re better off just loading your image from the camera roll instead of the “Last Applied Image” button. If you do editing from straight off your camera roll instead of “Last Applied Image”, your photos will save at 2500 x 2500 (7MP output) resolution.
I have the top photo I edited in the last demo. Not shown but I picked a wet grass photo for the bottom.
I went with a Unistrip blending…
It’s a little dark but this was the outcome of adding another layer on top of my previous blended image. I’m hoping that over time the developers will add basic editing tools (in a near future update like) Exposue, Brightness, Contrast, Saturation and others to the mix.
I wanted to show you another quick demo using InstaFusion only with straight photos from my collection. I added a Hipstamatic (Diego Lens and Blanko C16 Film) photo at the top and a ProCamera 7 cloud photo at the bottom. I used the Unistrip blending tool.
Then I did a See Through blend of Vida on top of the first layered photo. I called this Vida’s Dreamscape. You can also check out InstaGlass which was called GlassCamera. Both app are universal to the iPad and $.99 each. That is a steal because a lot of apps are going up in prices and you’re seeing a lot less of the $.99 photo and video apps. This is a very one of a kind and innovative blending/layering app. It’s worth picking up and adding to your editing arsenal. It’s very easy to use app with very professional output look to your images. People will think you’re an editing pro or a Photoshop Master.
