Today I’m going to do a special blog for a photo sharing app called Tadaa. The recent buyout with Instagram to Facebook has gotten everyone upset, a lots of people started to get Streamzoo and EyeEm accounts. My friend Tiffany (@tiffany916) told me to get a Tadaa account and find her. I didn’t think getting a Tadaa account was going to turn into an “up yours Instagram !” I was trying to find new blog readers and followers since I was getting tapped out from focusing on Instagram so much. It’s actually one of the nicest photo sharing apps in the market. I was really surprised with all the features this sharing app has to offer. What I really love the most is seeing the photos on a larger scale in HD (high definition). Something Instagram has lacked for a long time, maybe with the $1billion dollars they got from Facebook. They can actually improve the viewing of photos on Instagram. I really got spoiled from looking at photos on Path, Streamzoo and EyeEm. The photos look so much nicer on those apps and give them the justice they deserve in photo sharing. One last thing I wanted to share with all you guys about Tadaa. I e-mailed them because everyone was talking about the message of being slow because of the influx of accounts being created over the last week. I emailed them on my lunch break at work. I told them how I liked their app and keep up the great work. I wanted to give these guys a positive message because they got in over their head with all these new accounts popping up. I walked back to work and clocked in from lunch. Then my iPhone makes the email notification noise. I get an email back from the guys on Tadaa in 5 minutes !!! It was nice to get a response so quickly and not a automated response. It was someone actually emailing me back telling me AWESOME and THANKS ! I was really amazed and touched by the simple response from Tadaa. This was something I needed to share with everyone. This is why I always express to email, write reviews and going to their pages and contacting them is really important.
I’m going to show you how to use the camera part of this app. I’ll be shooting some random photo out in good old El Cajon. Tap on the center button to take the shot. On the right hand side is the zoom slider, frame and film om the lower right side.
After you take the shot then the edit button pop up and the camera button becomes the save button.
The first one is Adjustment where you do the normal adjusting and simple editing.
The second button is Clarity, that’s where you do the tone map process of bring out the details in your photo. You have the tap on the checker board button to actually use the slider button on the Clarity.
The Drop button is the Tilt Shift edit, you have 2 different tilt shift options. One is parallel and the second is the circle. I’m going to use the parallel edit. It’s a little trick to use at first but there are drawings on each of the edits that tell you what they do and how to work them. There are also other adjustments in how you want to do the blur.
Frame button is your different assortments of frames to overlay on top of your photo.
Film button is your different types of filters to use on your photo. There are a lot of different options of film filters.
Apply all the edit changes and post your photo and TADAA !!!
Here I am on Tadaa and everyone else I follow on my feed.
My edited photo saved to the camera roll from Tadaa.
You can also save the original and it saves pretty high resolution. The resolution is 1875 x 2500 with is 3mp…so if anyone complains that it’s low resolution. It’s not that low !!!
When you hit the plus button that’s how you comment and like a photo. You can also take more pictures, add a surprised look face and…
…send them to Facebook, Twitter, email and/or send it as a text message. That’s pretty impressive to be able to do all these functions with this photo sharing app. The best part of this photo share network…YOU OWN THE RIGHTS TO YOUR PHOTOS !!! That’s right all of the photos you post belong to you and only you. There is a button you tap on saying your photo must belong and copyrighted to you in ordered to post, if not they will delete your photo and ban you keep posting photos that don’t belong to you.
There are 2 section on the AWESOME PAGE, it’s Tadaa’s popular page. Which I find really cool because there are so many great photo/images to look at on this page. It’s a very awe inspiring page to look at all the time…something most of us missed on Instagram. I’m still not sure what the “LUCY” section is for, hopefully someone can answer that.
Last part I wanted to add is you have any problems with the app, you can always tap on the Clear Caches button. It helps most of the time and will get your stream running smoothly. I hit it about once a day. It will back you out of the app like when an app crashes. Then you have to log back into the app.
I hope this blog will help with questions about this photo sharing app. You can click HERE to get to Tadaa’s website. If you have any questions please email me ashcroft54@gmail.com you can leave comments on this blog or an other of the blog posts. Love your blog Tina!
Hi Tina, great blog i was expecting it to be very one sided after seeing your post on IG but it was beautifully neutral…Oh! i figured out what lucy is…but you have too now no doubt every day or 2 they feature tadaa pics which have used the tadaa filters…They run their own comps not sure how they’re judged and i never see who wins but i must admit i am very impressed by it’s features as well it seems to be a lot fairer with the promoted pics…great post!
Thanks for letting me know what Lucy was. I wanted to add a friend told me and advise me it’s important to be neutral. I like IG a lot but it’s how they bragged about not being a sell out and in the end they always had a price. Thanks for reading my blog
I love your review on Tadaa
Hope you like mine as well..

Well, maybe you should follow me because I’m well know as one of the craziest app iPhoneographer editor in the world. A lot of people who follow me ask me for their opinions because I get straight to the point. That’s key I’ve learn from all this blogging, no one want to read long drawn out blogs anymore we live in a micro fast pace society. Your blog is great but there is soooooo much to read and no one want to read. They want to see pictures, short videos and get straight to the point to what your blogging about. You probably have more readers than me but I’m more about editing photos with my apps, guest bloggers and month long projects with camera apps. I also will do comparisons of different apps. If you want app review comparisons, you’re barking up the wrong tree with me. You need to compare yourself with Life in LoFi and iPhoneography. Then try to get a hold of Marty and Glyn…I’m in a complete different category.
Thank for your wise words. I’m now following you and I look forward to more of your posts. I’m about to do travel posts from a 1 week trip I did to Northern Kenya and I will keep it to the point. Tell me how I’ll be doing please and I look forward to your feedback.
Thanks.
is it possible to delete pictures youve taken?
Yes, there are ways of delting photos after you upload them. You go on you feed and tap on your photo. The you will see an arrow in the box on your left hand corner. You will have 3 options. email, delete and show profile. You tap on the delete to erase your photo from Tadaa.
how do we delete photos? i have no idea how to. please help if you know.
If you’re having trouble email me and I’ll show you step by step photo college.
Thank you so much for teaching me THIS step! I had some stuff I randomly uploaded, and wanted to remove it. You’re so clever!
You’re very welcome, that’s makes my day.
There is also a Tadaa user group on Facebook if anyone is interested. The only draw back is that if you’re like me and don’t speak German it is a little extra work to read and keep up with. But it is worth it. All the developers are in this group as well and answer questions frequently.
Great blog by the way.
Thanks and I;m glad you liked the blog.
Thanks for the info on deleting pics. Worked like a boss.
Your welcome and if you have questions just let me know.
I’m extremely impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself? Anyway keep up the excellent quality writing, it’s rare to see a great blog like this one these days.
Great blog on Tadaa. Thanks. It’s always the simplest stuff that hangs me up, however. I signed up for Tadaa today and when I open it on my iPad, I get a screen showing that I’ve joined, giving my @username and a green rectangle that lets me edit my profile. NOTHING to indicate how I get to the camera, how I gete Tadaa to improve the pictures already on my iPad, or anything else useful! Help, please. — Bob
I can email you screen shots later to help you with your problems.
Thank you. I’d appreciate that. — Bob
I was recommended this website by my cousin.
I’m not sure whether this post is written by him as no one else know such detailed about my problem. You’re amazing!
Thanks!
