Today I’ll be talking about an app called Scratch Cam. The just had a huge update and it was 4 months in the making for this update. They’ve totally improved this app from the ground up with editing effects, you can also custom your effects and download effects for FREE !!! It’s also been added to the Photo App Link line. I also wanted to let you all know that a lot of these app developers are like me. They develop these apps for the love of programming, making photo editing better and for very little money or no money at all. They have 9 to 5 jobs just like me so they can pay the bills, only a very few handful make enough money from their apps to quit their jobs. All the blogs I do for everyone to read is on my own time, I don’t get paid for blogging. I do these blogs because I love writing them and sharing creative ideas of mobile editing.

Let’s get started with Scratch Cam, as you can see the UI is totally different from the old version. You have a lot more controls over your editing. It’s not random editing anymore. You have 6 button to tap on to get you started with this app. Camera, Album, ScratchCam Studio, Download Centre, Option and Info. Camera and Album I’m not going to go into details of they work because it’s really obvious of how they work.

After you load in your photo you have these editing options to work with and something more is added to the mix with this app.

You have these FREE downloads called Effects Pack, which is great. Not bad for only paying $1.99 !!!

Before you save any photo make sure you check what resolution your setting is at, so you save your photo at low to high resolution.
